Community First of Aitkin County is a growing grassroots group of concerned-for-our-community individuals. Our primary goal is to engage our community in raising awareness of family & community wellbeing; body, mind and soul. Especially our young during these challenging, divided times.

We are here to genuinely explore how we can support your journey and foster meaningful interactions with community wellbeing in mind. To build a network of individuals and associations committed to advocating for policy reform, supporting candidates who prioritize community wellbeing, and bridging ideological divides through respectful dialogue and shared understanding, guided by the values of unity, freedom, and truth in rural America. This association is an opportunity to chart a new path forward, uniting not as separate factions, but as Americans.
Dear Neighbors,
Many of us are feeling defeated and exhausted from partisan politics. All of us are worried about America’s future, but left wondering, “What can we do?”
We all need to fight back to strengthen our democracy.
Community First is building a strong grassroots-base across Aitkin County and beyond.
Let’s mobilize this base!
Organize, educate, and empower individuals and local groups and associations.
(We’re still in the individual stage, but many partner groups will be under Resources.)Objectives:
1.Advocate for policy reform initiatives that promote community wellbeing and social justice in rural areas, rooted in the principles of unity, freedom, and truth. This coalition is a chance to chart a new way forward, not as any one faction, but as Americans.
2.Recruit and support candidates for public office who champion policies aligned with our values of unity, freedom, and truth, with a focus on unity and progress in rural communities. This coalition is an opportunity to unite as Americans, transcending individual factions.
3.Host community events and discussions to raise awareness about local issues/concerns, policy reform and promote dialogue among stakeholders, fostering unity and understanding within rural communities. This coalition is a chance to chart a new path forward, together as Americans.
4.Develop educational resources and initiatives to empower rural communities to engage in advocacy and promote positive change through advocacy and policy reform, guided by the values of unity, freedom, and truth. This coalition is an opportunity to come together as Americans, working towards a common goal.
